    Best player on his team and going into the stands to save a ball agains the worst team in the NBA. No wonder they are the champions.

    A few things.

    First, Shaquille O'Neal is the best player on his team.

    Second, I saw Cuttino Mobley go into the stands to save a ball when we were down 20-25 pts versus the Bulls. The effort is there.

    Uh, Cuttino could do the same if he were in the same offense. Cuttino played Kobe straight up in November.

    Cuttino is a wanna be star, Kobe is one of the best 5 players in the league.

    I dont know but they had alot of stars at the game last night. Master P, and his son Lil Romeo were behind the rockets bench.
    Blue Cantrell sang the national anthem. Mystikal was behind the fakers bench.

    That would not be me, I will always trade equal talent for the taller player.

    Ask anyone on this BBS, tall with equal talent is better then short with the same talent.

    For the love of GOD, and YOUR credibility don't start to say that Mobley is anything near Kobe.


    PLEASE.


    Also, no one can honestly say Shaq is better. Kobe does so much more tha Shaq does, but SHaq does a lot of the same thing.


    One thing's for sure, they are the top 2 players in the league.

    God do you guys remeber last year when the Lakers wanted to trade Kobe for Mobley/Francis.

    Kobe is Rudy T type player. He could play one on five...iso..iso..iso... He would average 40pts a game if he played Rudy T ball. We would win the title next year with just him and Griffin(rebounding and put backs)

    If Francis had Shaq on his team, people would be saying the same thing about him.

    No they wouldn't. Kobe is shooting over .500, is about 6'8'', can rebound, can pass, can defend, can block shots, can play PG or SG or SF, is clutch, wants the last shot, can beat a double team, can beat a triple team and finally HE ISN'T HURT.

    Francis is awesome player but he can't beat a double team, can't beat a triple team, is an okay defender, can't play SF, doesn't want the last shot, isn't clutch, makes really bad decisions.

    If he played with Shaq he would be known as an awesome player just not the second best player.

    IMO Shaq is still the best player in the league but Kobe is the by far the best perimeter player in the league

    He's 6'7", not that height makes you a better player. Francis can rebound and pass, and his defense would look a lot better with Shaq behind him as well. Block shots? Who cares? Bryant doesn't get double-teamed when Shaq is in the game, which is usually for about 40 minutes. What team is going to double-team a player other than Shaq while he is on the court? No team is that stupid. Bryant is, however, the beneficiary of Shaq getting double-teamed. When you are not the main focus of the defense (Francis is, by the way), it makes it just a bit easier. Triple-teamed? LOL. Shaq is the only person in the NBA anyone would ever think about triple-teaming. How do you triple-team someone on the perimeter?

    Can't play SF? LOL. What is the importance of being able to play SF? Francis is the main focus of the defense on his team. Bryant isn't.

    Do you realize how much attention Shaq commands out there? Even when you're not guarding him, you're always looking over your shoulder worried about him. This means that even the guy guarding Bryant is most likely thinking about Shaq at the same time. I don't think the guy guarding Shaq is too worried about Bryant, do you?

    I can't elevate him to that status until I see him play a full season without Shaq.
