Didn't see this posted. Sage words from Jason Friedman...

This is how San Antonio has maintained their success for so many years. They don't get too hyped and don't get rattled. These young Rockets have to learn how to do the same.

Jason is the man. We're lucky to have such a wordsmith writing Rockets material.

Rick Adelman always used to say don't get high, don't get too low.
McHale needs to preach the same thing too.

Jason should write for the Penthouse Forum if he doesn't already do so.

I'm not saying he can't write, but most sports articles in general just state the obvious (as he does here).
Dude's a snob though. Acts like the typical, 80's movies douche.

    Wow... I mean wow.

First of all, I have never met Jason in real life but he has been nothing but kind and accommodating to me online over the past five years or so. 80's movie douches would be just as "douche-y" online as in real life. There is a difference between sport articles that "just state the obvious" and how JCF writes. That's what people are appreciative of... the fact that our Rockets writer has the ability to make those "obvious" things worth reading.

Honestly... take a deep breath and step back...your jealousy is showing.

Also to get back on topic.. the fact that the guys repeatedly have been saying this in interviews over the past few months makes it seem like this message has sunk in.

You are right, especially Harden said so many times that They are not ready, they are not there yet(championship caliber team) and they have to take a step forward and play as championship caliber team to compete. I don't understand why everyone overreact like we should win this year.
