I think two adults dressing up to mock a celebrity story is a lot different than someone dressing up their child like a terrorist complete with doll and knife to mimic beheading.

Just pretend for a minute that the Ray Rice couple doesn't have anything to do with black people and you'll realize that it isn't nearly as bad. I know it's hard for you to see through your "race issues are the only issues" glasses sometimes, but just try.

    They are wearing blackface.
Last I checked that's pretty tabboo.

Not as bad as the ISIS kid but it's still not that innocuous.

Wearing blackface is "pretty taboo" because of the way it was used years ago. The psychological and real world issues at play with regards to blackface in 2014 do not even begin to compare to masked ISIS terrorists beheading people.

And again, one is two adults, the other is a child.

Why not try . . . .not looking through your PRIVILEGE of "Me and Only my sensibilities matter' glasses . . .and you would see it is as bad.

When and only you feel 'victimized' is it considered 'bad'
in fact it is the worse bad in all of bad-dom

I don't find much funny about blackface or domestic violence
but obviously these are things of not much consequence cause
you are neither black nor a woman . . .so of course it ain't "that bad"

Two adults making decisions about what stupidity they want to engage in is different than putting that stupidity on your child.

What if I wanted to go as President Obama? Is it inappropriate to use makeup to make me look like the President? Isn't there a difference between the "mammy" black face and using makeup to have a white person go as a black person (or vice versa)?

No, no difference. If you put makeup on your face to look like Obama that is offensive as if you walk around dressed like a terrorist cutting the head off of a reporter.
