No games on ESPN/TNT/NBATV today, but I'm sure NBATV will pick up a few here and there... <table border=0 cellspacing=0 cellpadding=5><tr style='color:#ffffff;background-color:#000099;font-size: 14px;font-family: Arial;text-shadow: 0 2px 0 rgba(0,0,0,1);'><td colspan=2 align=center><b>Visitor</b></td><td colspan=2 align=center style='border-left:1px solid #9999FF;'><b>Home</b></td><td align=center><b><nobr> Time </nobr></b></td></tr><tr style='color:#000000;background-color:#ffffff;font-size: 12px;font-family: Arial;'><td valign=middle></td><td valign=middle><b>Lakers (17-22) Leaders:</b><BR>K. If only Artest hadn't hit the first 3-pointer to start the rally. Dwight's ejection was silly IMO and he wasn't doing much anyway. I bet it fires the Lakers up and gives them focus in the 2nd half. This should be an easy win. Hurry up 49ers/Falcons!
Calderon looks like a superstar. So far today, he's the maestro, not Nash. Lakers are so lethargic on defense.
The Lakers just look miserable. In fact their offensive sets are terrible too and they have played no defense so far
Excellent. Want Toronto to make the playoffs and LA to miss the playoffs. Kobe appears to be on the same page with his 6-22 for 15 points.
19 point lead. Toronto should be able to hang on for the final seven minutes. Maybe not. 10 point game.
That was very noticeable. Lowry can't run an offense anywhere close to what Calderon can do. After he hit the 3-pointers, Raptors crashed. But Calderon to the rescue. Raptors should get rid of Lowry if they can get a dime for him.
First time this season Raptors have won allowing 100 points(0-20 before tonight). Are Lakers that bad?
Lakers have to learn in order to win, they have to put out hard. They aren't good enough to get easy wins on the road going at half-speed. They have to wake up and play before the last 10 minutes. Something has to be done about Kobe's shooting percentage, particularly in the first 3 quarters. He started 3/14 tonight before finding his range late. This causes the Lakers to lose in the worst possible way: Falling behind and burning themselves out in the 4th quarter making a comeback. Kobe put in 43 hard minutes; Nash was at 37. It's on to Chicago to play the short-handed Bulls tomorrow night. If they start playing with 48 minutes of urgency, Lakers will be fine. But if they stand around and watch Kobe chuck 30+ shots and don't try on defense until it's too late, forget it.
