At a recent dinner party hosted by New York Times D.C. bureau chief Philip Taubman and his wife, Times reporter Felicity Barringer, and attended by Arthur Sulzberger Jr., Maureen Dowd, Steven Weisman, and Elisabeth Bumiller, Rice was reportedly overheard saying, “As I was telling my husb—” and then stopping herself abruptly, before saying, “As I was telling President Bush.” Jaws dropped, but a guest says the slip by the unmarried politician, who spends weekends with the president and his wife, seemed more psychologically telling than incriminating. Nobody thinks Bush and Rice are actually an item. A National Security Council spokesman laughed and said, “No comment.” HOW FUNNY Rocket River

Uh-oh. Maybe Kerry can get some phone calls out there, start calling the rednecks in South Carolina and such, like Bush's minions did to McCain in 2000. In 2000, it went like, "If you knew John McCain had an illegitimate black child, would you be more or less likely to vote for him?" "Uh....less! Less likely! Yee haw!" Now, well, that might be different. Given the choice between two Repubs is one thing. But now? "Hi, we're calling from moveon.org. If you knew President Bush was sleeping with Condoleeza Rice---that this BLACK lady, was, in fact, yelling out 'sweet daddy George!!!!'---would you be more or less likely to vote for the President?" (after a moment's thought) "Well, I ain't votin' for no Democrat, so I can look the other way on that. I don't believe it nohow anyway."

It seems like the majority of photos of Bush or Condi are not very flattering to either, in this one, Bush has some weird vibe going down as well.
Kidding aside, both of them frequently have a look straight out of bizarro world. CNN ran a clip several times of Rice a day or two before she was "allowed" to testify. She's walking towards the camera and flashes a big smile, and when she's turning a corner and thinks the camera is off of her... BAM! Instant facial expression change... I mean, if looks could kill, several millions of CNN viewers would have dropped dead on the spot. I noticed that the network only showed the complete clip a few times. Afterwards, you only got the huge grin. Freaky.
