I'm on the record, I like this trade for the rest of the year. I'm not sure I want him next year. Overall, I liked today's trade deadline, I wanted Gogi but I didn't want to give up the farm for him.

DMo gets at least 2-4 open looks in paint by playing pick&roll with PP and finally we got some one with can pass in post in every situation. Pablo will be good in our system mark my words

 

Curry's stopper

 

Prigioni 10 years ago would have been a decent pickup. However, now he is pushing 40 and, whereas he has lost a step or two, he was never a speedy player anyway. Even as average as Shevd is, Prigioni is a downgrade. And he has a contract for $1.5M through 2015-16. Why couldn't we get Tyler Ennis whom the Suns traded?

He was a safe pick up that gives us what we need at the point, for limited minutes, anyway.

 

I hope he's good enough to beat out or supplement Terry in the rotation, we will see.

 

Is the PG position the waterloo of Morey?

From Alston to Brooks to Lowry to Dragic to Lin to Bev (to Dragic--if the trade had gone down yesterday)

Prigs certainly is not our solution to longterm PG. We're not gonna pay Bev big money either. So we're gonna look for another PG again this summer? Draft? Trade deadline?

 

Who would have thought Morey would scrape the deepest of the barrel to come up with the name of Prigioni yesterday?

Some scout must have read this article and gave it to Morey to read--"He fits our system!"

 

Decent 3 pt FG%, low TO's, very high BBIQ, smart D, takes the burden off Harden and Terry (who both really need it), fewer possessions that turn into garbage because we can't set up a play, and small contract (less than $500K guaranteed next season).

Yes, old and not athletic, but there are quite a few positives. He will be a good contributor for the rest of the season and in the playoffs.
