Wow this video is pure gold! It's interesting to hear that teams are VERY AGGRESSIVE to acquire T-Mac and that Morey is willing to deal with T-Mac if he gets good deal. On other side he said he might come back in the middle or at the end of the season so this video raised awareness about how realistic TMac trade is, if not now then at the AllStar break. On the other side I think we're everybody very anxious about this draft, damn I've never been so excited about a draft in years.
The rumors where driving T-Macs stock down a little.. SO, DM does this press conference to show that we are not in a mode to HAVE to trade him. When in all reality we are just trying to drive the price up.. Morey is a smart, smart man.
Haha yeah. He takes his work so serious. Maybe too serious!? After all he was named best sports caster or something like that.
There is absolutely no new news here. Why did Morey call a presser the day before the draft for this? I have to believe something fell through at the last minute. Not knowing what the deal was, it's hard to be disappointed, but damn if I were a journalist I would have asked WTH?
Yeah, I'm guessing something fell through, and other teams got wind of it. So Morey being the cunning guy he is, decides to call a presser to assure everybody that T-Mac's value is perfectly fine, and that we are not trying to move him.
