    A seasoned, scoring PG.

PG by a decent margin. People are getting a distorted opinion of PF because DMo is out. We are at least average there with a DMo/Smith rotation.

We are probably bottom 5 at PG/backup 2 guard.

All that said, I think we should just continue to add talent and be ready to strike when an opportunity comes. I would not trade the farm for Lowry, but would be open to a reasonable trade.

Trade TJones for a good playmaking PG.

We need a good mature seasoning pg. One that can direct Harden the right way. Curfew at midnight.

Well we already have Harden PG and you can't do better than that so my vote is PF.

Don't think that is what even happened. Curry came in from along the baseline and stepped into Dwight. There was no chance (or responsibility) for Dwight to box him out.

It's hard to say whether the team is very close or still very far from truly contending because the team can play so well but also so poorly.

I say err on the side of caution. We cannot stand pat. Upgrade as much as we can.

Pau Gasol and a double double, hmmmmm. Are you saying DMOs going to average 10 rebounds or more?

Scoring PG (Lawson seems like a good candidate) with decent defense. Bev would be a great spark off the bench.

A bench player with no true position or role for a starting PG? Dear God man, this isn't a Yahoo! Public Fantasy League for dumb trade proposals.

Was this thread written 1 year ago, left on the cpu, then accidentally posted today?
Capt Hook has erased all PF concerns.
We knew last year and the year before that we needed a PG.
We instead went into this year with an injury prone sub par guy backed by d-leaguers and an ancient out of position guy coming off knee surgery.
We need a PG. oh and by the way we need a PG. and if you haven't heard over the past 3 years, we need a PG. and that truly is on Morey. It is what it is. It's been known for years and Morey is driving this bus.

Somebody on Twitter posed TJ or DMo/#18/NJ/Future Pick for Lowry, Bima said it was probably a good start. You'd likely need to replace Nick with Papa, and I definitely wouldn't be wiling to part with DMo or a future 1st, but a deal like that to get your playmaking PG seems reasonable.

I think Motiejunas is good to go as our starting PF from henceforth. He's a seven footer with a fantastic post game, defensive instincts, and a developing 3 point shot. His one weakness (albeit big) is his rebounding but that's why he's great next to Dwight. It may be lovely to have LMA or Love but Motiejunas is someone who I think can hold his own against them defensively and at least challenge them offensively. He coukd be a poor man's Pau Gasol, given the chance to develop.

Its clear that PG is our biggest weakness. Bev is not dynamic enough to be a starter. He's a bottom tier starter but a GREAT back-up. We need to be talking to Denver about what they'd want for Lawson. Dragic would've been perfect but he basically gave us the middle finger.

If Toronto wants to blow it up and Lowry is healthy, we can talk to them too. I think its clear PG is our biggest concern. Need someone to make guys like Curry and Westbrook work on defense and who can be a playmaker to take the burden off Harden.

I would love to see what Bima has to say about the Hayward contract. That's the only wildcard Morrey could use. It will give 10.5 mil capspace and can be added with other salaries to match higher contracts.

This thread makes me question if you actually watch the rockets

.......Jason Terry is currently our starting PG.

Not sure your point. Canaan was gone--yep traded away by Morey. Johnson is a good defender but can't shoot and can't run an offense.

For this particular series I think a guy like Ryan Anderson would have been really nice to have. I have never really been down on Jones, but I don't know how much more he can give you. Having an Anderson in games one and two for this series could have swung things in our favor.

If you can get Lawson I think that is a no brainier, but at this point, it's more about who is available and what is the cost. I would go out and just add any PF or any PG, like folks who wanted Knights or Thomases at the deadline.

    We need long term guys.
