man, you really have a reading comprehension problem. Really, you do. Both your responses to me are completely misreading my post. How do you confuse that and then respond? Do you honestly believe I don't know the rules of All Star selection process. stop responding to me in this thread.

No, Kobe has always been a popular starter since before Lin was even playing Harvard basketball.

And Chris Paul is massively popular, too.

It is cute that you think Kobe Bryant fans and Jeremy Lin fans are the same people, though. How would you even support such a claim?

I don't think you know what you're talking about at all, to be honest.

    Poor Tony Parker.

He is having a great year himself and Nash has more votes than him.

ok, the numbers are still low, but darn, those "CP3 will be outvoted by Lin" jokes aren't so fun anymore...

i dont know about you guys..but it is very embarrasing when someone like Lin is ahead of Westbrook in votes. This gets highlighted in the media and people make a joke out of Houston.

"If Lin can overtake Paul, there is a good chance Westbrook doesn't go and Harden makes it as a reserve. LOL Screw you OKC!"

There's a 100% chance Harden makes it as a reserve, and so does Westbrook, irrespective of whether or not "Lin can overtake Paul." The word "if" at the beginning there establishes the subsequent dependent clause as being conditioned on the first. Since the first condition has nothing to do with the second, you literally have no idea what you're talking about.

    Not out of Houston.

They will just make racist remarks about Lin and Asians, so you don't have to worry.

Why open it to voting by fans, especially international ones, if it should be about skill or record? If it's a popularity contest simply, then why do people get so worked up? Ban Chinese people from voting if it's such a damn problem.

Why is it embarrassing? Lin is more popular than Westbrook. Rubio got votes and he hasn't played a single game.

I bet Lin hopes he doesn't get voted in. I think he would be embarrassed to take the court as an all-star when he knows others are more deserving.

Why would Chinese voters vote for Harden if not for the presence Lin?

So many logical disconnects in every post. Nothing you've said makes any sense.

His name is James Harden, by the way. Maybe that explains what you perceive as some sort of discrepancy? All those votes were cast for James Hardin instead? Is there some sort of NBA Elections Committee we could appeal to!?!?!
