If he got the full 20 million than I am happy for Chuck, he deserves whatever he can get, he is the epitome of a hard working guy a self made man.

Good on ya Chuck, and teach Cousins how to be a professional.

Ignoring the fans who are a lot less educated on how to build a roster than he is (myself included) and going with his plan.

If the team is better in the end, people will come around.

I am happy for Chuck, and Morey clearly told him he would not match whatever offer he got, basically the Rox did not want Chuck back, as they knew he was going to get a good offer and they would not match it.

Chuck was great here, a wonderful Rocket, but if Dream can play in Toronto, Chuck can go to Sacremento.

The Rockets will endure.....GO ROCKETS !!

Noooo...and just when I stocked up on all this Li-Ning gear too!

It's ok, maybe Li-Ning will just drop Chuck and add Patterson. Oh wait we don't have Yao anymore...well Rockets players can still dream can't they?

Hey more power to him. We are rebuilding folks, offering him anywhere near that neighborhood for a team not finals bound is stupid (sorry Sacramento).

We lose a great guy and a great player, but he deserves to get PAID...

Dude wthhhh, 5 million for the Chuckwagon sounds pretty fair to me. Wonder why the Rockets weren't willing to pay that much..

Why didn't we just trade him at the deadline for some crappy draft picks at least like we did with Battier?

This isn't Morey's MO; letting a guy walk without getting back some compensation.

I will believe it when I see some tweet by a credible source.

In what universe? In Chuck's best year, playing 4 more mpg, he scored fewer points, grabbed fewer rebounds and had fewer blocks. He had a slightly higher PER.

Not saying I want the team to sign Dalembert, but Chuck's ceiling is his ceiling.

I don't think players can sign anything yet, but if this is basically all but done, congrats to Chuck.

Its says they are in the lead to sign him. I dont see where it says they have signed him. I am sure we are moving in another direction at center though. So it makes sense.
