    Cato 11
    Nov 5 Tue Seattle L 104-97 2-2 Francis 33

7 of their next 10 games are on the road.

7 of their next 10 opponents are 500 or above teams.
    which houston has trouble beating.

5-10 with Cato, 0-15 with Ming. Maybe you should try forecasting the Shanghai Sharks next 15 games instead.

By the way, do you really think that MIng would be playing 30 minutes a game in Golden State over Erick Dampier and Adonal Foyle? Jesus, obviously you didn't see the game last saturday, Dampier is the player we WISH Cato could be and Foyle is light years ahead of Ming. He wuld get less time than even Oscar Torres or Dunleavy.

(oops, I should have added a smilie face to my first reply)

I see your point that the next few games are gonna be tough, but I think the Rockets are able to win more than just two of the next 10 games.

Don't forget that Mo Taylor will be back from now on.

the 3 -2 record so far is really misleading.

2 losses came from better teams.

3 wins. 2 against the worst teams in the league.
win over toronto WITHOUT Vince Carter doesn't mean anything..

Now they get Portland twice, Dallas, washington, Sonics, lakers, much improved Suns.... .. 7 of the next 10 on the road...woo!! not very fun....

Francis is mostly a mid-range jump shooter. he's on a hot streak lately..so is mobley... but don't expect the hot shooting to continue forever. pretty soon he'll come back on earth... (especially against the upper echelon teams they'll be facing next 10 games...
by that time, i don't really know who can pick up the slack for him... since houston is pretty much a 2 men/ jump shooting team now...

let's see if Francis can continue to play savior and get triple doubles everytime.. or else pretty soon criticisms will come like snow flakes...

    What are you talking about?

    Portland is below .500
    Phoenix is at .500
Lakers have only won 2 games
    Cleveland will never be .500
Dallas and Washington are above .500
    Clippers aren't .500
    Golden State is not .500
    Seattle is above .500.

So 7 of the next 10 opponents are over .500.

Also, have you noticed that the two teams we lost to are leading their division.

You are the next big Troll.

portland is 3-4, but look at their schedule so far.. very tough.. they got lakers twice, Sac, Pho, and SA. this is an ELITE team!!

Phoenix... tough tough defensive team w/ 2 stars... Marbury is equal to francis... but they also have a Penny who can create shots for himself and for his team-mates. Houston's going to have a tough time winning @ phoenix.

Washington - Jerry STackhouse the main guy now.. he and jordanare gonna kick some asses..

NEXT BIG THING If the Rockets follow your predictions they don't deserve to be in the playoffs, but, I believe otherwise, they will go 6-4 over the next 10 games.

12 Tue Portland = L - Portland's got one of the best frontcourt guys.. they are gonna molest the jump shooting guard-oriented rox.

    15 Fri @ Phoenix = L - Penny and Marbury over Mobley / Frans

17 Sun @ L.A. Lakers =L - Lakers at home taking care of business

19 Tue Cleveland =W - yeah.. this team can't win over anyone

21 Thu @ Dallas =L - no need to say more..

    22 Fri Washington =L - STackhouse + Jordan over mobley / frans

24 Sun @ L.A. Clippers = L - this team's more talented than their 2-4 record. candyman is playing like an all-star this yr. Candyman takes Cato to school.

26 Tue @ Portland =L - Portand at home.. are you kidding me?

    27 Wed @ Golden State =W - yeah.. yeah...

    29 Fri @ Seattle =L - payton dishes out 18 assists AGAIN.

Next B Thing I agree with you. All the posters that diss you are blind and they will see that the Rockets are a bunch of losers after the month of November.

FYI this is a Rockets FAN site, not a Ming-Fan-who-is-bitter- because-of-Ming's-own-shortcomings-and-wants-to-blame-the-Rockets site.

    Next BANNED Thing.

so if you don't wear rockets tinted glasses, you're not allowed to post around these parts without getting flamed?

i don't know if he's a troll or not, but his subsequent posts don't reek of animosity... rather they have text that deserve to be statements for debate, not ridicule.

According to NBT, the Rockets (3-2) are in trouble, because they have only won three games, against two crummy teams (Denver and GS) and against Toronto without Vince. Our losses were to Indiana on the road, and to a tough Seattle team.

Rox so far: no quality wins, no disappointing losses.

Now let's look at Portland's 3-4 schedule. Beat LA (without Shaq) in their home opener, lost to Sacto (without CWebb and Bibby) by 28, lost to Denver!!!!!!, lost to the Lakers (again without Shaq), beat Memphis, lost to Phoenix, and beat SA.

Jailblazers so far: one quality win (SA), and two disappointing losses (Denver and Phoenix) and two semi-disappointing losses (LA and Sacto).

I'd say so far the Rockets have played more up to expectations than Portland.
