    Nope. But they'll come close...38-44.

Yes we will. 55-27. Scoring will be spread around. Ariza:14PPG, Scola: 16PPG, Brooks: 18PPG, Landry 14PPG. My prediction carries the assumption that the team has a healthy McGrady by mid-December, or a player of similar talent through a trade. I'm also optimistic that we will secure homecourt advantage in the playoffs. Most likely 4th place. While on paper, LA and SA seem unstoppable, I'm a firm believer that chemistry counts for something. While SA does have chemistry, both LA and SA have teams with high volume shooters, which I hope will be their downfall.

I think we will if our players stay healthy.

We will make the playoffs. I'm hoping we can even take the #6 seed. #7 and #8 is sure fire first round defeat at the hands of the Lakers or Spurs. #6 could draw the Nuggets, Blazers, Mavs, or Jazz. You never know against those teams.

This team will be counted out by everyone, but will bust their ass, play smart, and shock the league this year (again).

If T-Mac is magically healthy, yeah, we probably will.

I don't know. As of now, I'm leaning towards a no. However, as the season goes on, I might be able to make a more definite choice.

Sure..TMAC gets healthy and we stay around 500 then at the trading deadline Morey does his Jedi Mind Tricks on Toronto and gets Bosh for Cook, Taylor, Battier and Pops.
We finish 5th in the West, take out Denver in the 1st round and saddely lose to SA in the Semis but sets up the Championship run of 2010!

The Rockets won't make the playoffs with the current roster. It is very much conceivable that DM will make major moves during the season and that is the only way the Rockets could have a chance to make it. As of now, no.

Is this a question or are you telling us it will happen?

We will be an average team? :p

Lakers, Spurs, Nuggets, and Blazers are locks

Mavs, Jazz, and Hornets are likely

I put us in the third tier with Suns, Clippers, and Grizzlies.

We'll be fighting all the way that's for sure

    I am Ron Burgundy?

but on a serious note, I am hoping for an intense "Magic Number" battle for the 8th spot come April. That, and I like Scribo's Magic Number threads.

If the defense comes around, we may get close. I'm not thinking it's gonna happen though.

We don't need a healthy T-Mac to make the playoffs. He's done anyways. We'll make the playoffs under the co-leaderships of Ariza, Brooks and Scolandry.

I think it has more to do with how the Suns play than how we play.

On paper, this team does not look great, but we've seen this squad do some amazing thins before and I think that it is not out of the question that they will make the playoffs as a 7th or 8th seed.

Getting TMAc back or unloading him for a useful piece would help.
