I don't know if they will make the playoffs. The important thing is to regain the good (elite) defence of last year and to incorporate Jabari slowly back. So far he has looked timid and rusty but he did this too : Also his defence seems to have markedly improved from last year. And the other 20 y.o franchise player so far has gone from 12 ppg to 20 ppg on super efficiency.
Except the pick is top 3 protected I think. Believe me, the lakers are doing everything possible to keep that pick.
MCW is awful and I really hate him. A turnover machine that doesn't know how to do anything well except having horrible hair. The only improvement is that he has lowered his usage but even then he's extremely harmful. I think it has become obvious even to Kidd that he's useless and that he will be either dumbed for scraps or used as a backup pg (where he should be even less useful but whatever). Hopefully we will tank hard for Simmons.
The Bucks were having a nice season last year and they got MCW and finished 11-18 down the stretch. That has carried over to a bad start this year. I'm starting to think they might not be able to turn it around. The east is suprisingly competent.
It's Gery Woelful. So basically crap against a wall. Though I don't see Hammond staying Kidd will probably stay as a coach. He has been doing a great job in player development.
