How much longer before Ryan Mallet becomes the starter?

The way Fitzpatrick is playing, I think you stick with him.

He's been bad when pressured, for the most part, but his mobility helps him a little. Mallet has no mobility, and would be severely limited under pressure, ala Schaub.

As much as it sucks at times having a gun slinger. Fitzpatrick has done what we've needed this season, aside from the first half of last game. And that was on the o line.

I'm as down on Fitz as anyone, but Mallet is a statue and that will doom him on this team. Mobility is important.

 

Fitz is going to keep finding ways to hurt his team, but I doubt he's replaced unless he reaches Schaub levels of horribleness.

 

It won't be Mallet until this team is out of the playoff chase. Probably week 12ish.

 

Given their weak schedule and the awful state of the division, they could be in it all year long, hell they could win the division with 9 victories.

Well he tried to injure the starter with a goofy sideline celebration. That would be one way.

What was wrong with Fitz today? He threw a jump ball for Hopkins that the defender made a great play on and another pass picked off on a deflection. No running game to help him out either. Mallet is garbage and the offense would be worse with him.

Bills's game plan today was to stop the run and make the Texans beat them with Fitz's arm. The Texans should assume that this will be the defensive game plan used against them going forward.
