Agree about what? That the new Daario Naharis is kind of lame? John McClain is the worst.

That's fun. No need to draft any jabroni RB's now. And he's starting caliber.

And he's also injury prone and so is Foster... Good pickup just the same because Brown is good when he's healthy but the Texans will probably still draft a running back at some point.

Hes not the one that's injury prone, Wilson was. This is a solid signing for a year. IMO it puts drafting a rb off for another year, so that we can solidify other areas of need

    Good signing.

Decent RBs seem to be a dime a dozen, so I wouldn't worry about drafting one sooner than the 4th round. If seems like every year there are a few UDFA guys that become productive backs instantly, too.

I'm aware of his history, I'm still fine with it. We couldn't get a guy like Brown if it wasn't for his history with injuries. It's just something you gamble on.

really great signing. As much as we bash either questionable signings or the lack of activity, this should be applauded at that price.

Dang rb's dont get paid like that use to. Those Foster/Peterson mega deals are a thing of the past.

Solid signing as a #2 type back, if he stays healthy....of course that's almost like talking about if Daryl Sharpton stays healthy.

I don't even think it's a gamble. I think he's a good pickup. I just don't think just because they signed him they won't draft a RB (or bring in a UDF because it should be plenty).

Had him on my Fantasy Football team the last couple of seasons. When he was healthy he produced.

Ed Valentine from Battle Red Blog's sister site for all things New York and Giants, Big Blue View, was kind enough to provide some background on the former Giant.

Brown is a good rotational back who should do a good job as a backup. There are some durability concerns and he isn't a No. 1 back, which is why the Giants replaced him with Rashad Jennings. He's a solid, one-cut runner who can get tough yards and should do a good job wherever he goes -- provided he isn't asked to be the lead guy.
