Unofficial Texans' off season thread for 2014.

This is a make or break year for him with this team I believe. He played the premier spot last year in Wade's D and underwelmed. I do agree that he has potential. I forgot if it was for the NBA or NFL, but i remember some coach or GM stating that you pretty much know what you have after year 3 of a player in their league. There are exceptions of course. I am by no means using some obscure reference in which I can't even remember who said it to back up my argument. Its just that the flashes he has showed were few and far between.

I love that she got dressed up for the meet and he showed up in shorts and a tshirt.

 

She looks much better than the sideline reporters for the astros and rockets. Those chicks are fugly.

I seriously think it's time to consider changing Watt's number to 34. That is a hallowed number here in Houston, but I think Watt is already worthy.

Normally, yes. But I think we can make an exception here (even though he would probably excel at either position....).

 

Maybe Im not aware, but I dont think it's a team decision...it would have to be approved by the NFL, which I highly doubt they'd approve. Otherwise, you'd get players like Jay Cutler wanting 23 to be like Jordan.

 

Yeah, I was really just kidding. Just delving into a little hyperbole with my man-love for JJ Watt.

 

Today marks the midway point for the Texans offseason. It's been 18 weeks since they last played a game and we're 18 weeks away from the regular season opener.

 

Apparently Andre skipped the workouts... O'Brien said, "Participation is voluntary. We just coach who shows up."
