    I guess this belongs here.

First time seeing this kid. LOVE his game.....definitely seems like a Morey type player.

    Has anyone here followed him?

It's a nice thought, but he won't be available when the Rockets draft. A great 3-point shooter who will have no problem getting his shot off in the NBA. He can also create and is a decent passer. He's also in love with the game of basketball and works hard on improving.

Defense will be a big problem but his positives outweigh them.

Not saying that this means much but NBA Draft.net has him 25th on their board, which is about where the Rockets are likely to pick. If nothing else, he's a player that will likely be taken in the range of their selection.

Last year about now, most NBA draft sites had Oladipo mid to late 1st round when a few of us knew he'd be top 5 at worst.

Maybe the Rockets can trade up because there is no way he lasts to the mid-20s. Like VO, it's easy to see he's a shooter that translates well to the NBA.

I would be thrilled if my Timber-wolves selected this guy. If Love is really destined to leave, then a young core of Rubio, Stauskas, Shabazz, and Dieng will be exciting to watch develop.

His lack of length and average phisical abilities is worrisome. I doubt he can shoot or finish that efficiently against NBA level competition.

His passing ability is interesting though, and it may let him play combo guard in the right system.

What lack of length? He's 6'6" with reasonably long arms and a high release. Getting his shot off shouldn't be an issue.

And while he's not necessity quick, he's surprisingly explosive. I've seen numerous games where he's finished drives in a half court set with a dunk. Combine the above with his passing skills and he's a pretty unique player.

Full disclosure: I went to Michigan, but I think you're selling him a bit short.

I'm not sure where this comes from, but on the day he announced, he was projected in the top 6:

    http://espn.go.com/nba/draft2013/st...ana-hoosiers-victor-oladipo-leaving-nba-draft

Chad Ford's first mock draft on the same day (April 10) had him going #5. Don't know anything this site, but they had him at #7 on April 1st:

This site, as of March 30th, lists 4 mock drafts with him going in the top 10:

I think he shot up the charts after March Madness.

There were a couple of threads last year where some of us touted VO and others said his draft ranking [according to so and so] was still very low.

Think he's a better playmaker/passer than Thompson. Reminds me a little of Mike Miller when he came into the league.

If it's accurate, his wingspan is 6'7" and standing reach is under 8'4". He's oversized for PG, but a little undersized for SG(for example, 4" less than Harden in both categories).

I like him offensively, but just want to point out the weakness as well.
