Kobe seems to be playing better since the resurrection of Bynum.

which clarifies my previous thoughts of Kobe... He aint **** without a big man... This is why I am reluctant to even put him in the discussion as one of the best to ever do it.....

I hope Kobe wins player of the week 5-6 times and LeBron wins all the rest.

[rquoter]Miami's LeBron James wins East Player of the Week award: Heat went 3-1 & he averaged 31 ppg on 60.7 FG%, 9.3 assts, 7.3 reb & 1.33 stls

    Lakers' Kobe Bryant wins in the West: Lake-Show went 3-1 & he averaged 33 ppg on 49.5 FG% w/ 6.8 assists .[/rquoter]

Simple. He is lying about the injury to act tough and stay relevant.

Can you imagine what kind of player Kobe would be if he had his current skill level with his 20s body?

I feel like mamba has had a significant drop-off physically, as expected. but the fact that he can still produce is a testament to his evolution/adaptation as a player.

hate the person, respect the player.

Kobe's quite remarkable for doing what he does. Sure other players have done similiar at the same age before, but nobody did it with as much mileage as Kobe has. This guy came straight out of high school and has played almost three extra seasons worth of playoffs games. That's a ton of mileage. One may not like this guy but he is a heck of an athlete and truly one of the all-time greats.
