if he still wants to be traded, which I'm assuming he does, would you bite the bullet and let him go?

As a fan it would be hard to see him go, but I think we could get something decent from a team that needs a WR (panthers, bengals maybe...though I'd prefer to see him go to the NFC)

I'd realistically only part with him for a 2nd rounder, but players never truly fetch their actual worth on the trade market..

Trading him to a contender would revitalize him. He definitely looks to be mailing it in these last few weeks.

    yes.

This team isnt gonna win a championship anytime soon. Trade him to a contender, he deserves to be competing and maybe even win a championship. *** u Rick Smith

Why is title indicating that the fans have any say in this matter?

Last I check, that POS Obrien deny AJ the chance to win when he dismiss his trade request and surrounded him with incompetence on his offense. Truly a selfish move by ass chin. Digusting

Only to a contender for no less than a second or third rounder. He's given this franchise his prime years and loyalty, it's only right that Andre gets a shot at a ring.

If it's good for the Texans then yes trade him. But don't do him any favors. We've seen how difficult it is to draft good players. You don't let talent walk out the door and run the risk of having journeyman WRs the next few years while you look for his replacement.

And the franchise has paid him tens of millions of dollars. It owes him absolutely nothing.

I'd be surprised if they could get a 2nd round pick for him at this point. They had their chance to trade him during the off-season... If the Texans try to trade him now _ teams may low ball them with some type of conditional pick that may not amount to much.

I vote yes, but depends on what the market will bear.

A 3rd rounder or some combination of things similarly valued?

    Yes.

Here are some posts that discussed his trade value and the market trends.

    This.

Trade him to New England for a 3rd rounder and let AJ play with a real QB and an organization that actually knows how to compete. While you at it let the Pats go dumpster diving for any other Texans they want. Want Jackson? Gimme a 5th. Want Joseph? Gimme a hand shake.

Yes, as a kind gesture to his servitude. He deserves better.

Plus, I would like to see what a healthy Posey has to offer at this point.

Off the top of my head, the last three WRs to be dealt: Brandon Marshall fetched 2 3s; Anquan Boldin a 6; Percy Harvin a 6.

Given his salary and age, the Texans would be lucky to get a 4 for AJ.

I agree. Before the season, a high 3 was possible. But now that the year is half-done, no way Jose. No crazy/owners GMs out there to jack up the price, either :(

So they can draft another Louis Nix or Suafilo?

    Nah.

I am ready to trade anybody and everybody not named JJ Watt including all the coaches, GM, and owner. I am even open to moving the team to Little Rock and getting a semi pro team. Kind of like we have now.

Attacking the poster but doing nothing to refute the claims.

    Sounds like what morons do.

We all know what happened during the summer.
