He deserved to be fined for wearing his own brand hat. Gotta follow league rules if you want to get paid, and gotta give BS answers when you don't feel like talking. Otherwise work construction for $15 an hour.

The man is private and doesn't want to talk. He doesn't have off the field problems and leaves it all on the field. Leave him the hell alone, let him pay the fines and move on nothing to see.

I'm sympathetic to those that don't like speaking to the media, but that's part of the job. If it's too much for you, find another job. I'm not a big fan of heights, so you'll never catch me taking this job http://youtu.be/QU7WyuC8Hy8

He is required to talk to the media they can't control what he says so no he doesn't have to go find a regular job because he isn't giving the media the interviews they want.

Who really cares for media interviews? Stupid questions and cookie cutter answers. I just want to see the actual game. Don't give a damn about post game interviews.

And people always want to compare their jobs to sports. It's not the same.

He hardly got owned, Arian was backtracking all over the place. The only big time ownage that has been on this show is Cuban when he was on a few years back.

Talking to the media is all about marketing right?! He's actually doing more marketing by not talking. The story is even bigger because he's not talking. If he came out and started talking, how much would people start caring?! Would they say oh ok wgat he's saying is different?!

But honestly the media know what they're doing. I think they rather him not talk and do what he's doing or they would've stopped. And when analyst are saying oh his fans want to know what he has to say...no I'm sure they don't because he hasn't really talked his entire career and people love him. His fans know what he's about.

Foster is right...Players are there to play, coaches to coach, and owners to own. To each there own. If players wanna use the media to convey a certain message...that should be on them. But some folks like things private, and it seems Marshawn is expressing just that.

The most intriguing Super Bowl matchup in years, and the media concentrates on bull****.

They absolutely can control what he says, and if players keep up the BS, you can bet that even more strict rules will be put in place. It's probably easier for them to just stop being children and do the little dance to stay a 1%er for playing a kids game.

So how exactly are they going to control what he says?

If he keeps saying "Both teams played hard" there is nothing the NFL can do about it.

They could easily decide that screwing with reporters is conduct detrimental to the league and issue fines or even suspensions for it if grown men insist on continuing to act like children. It would be a lot easier if they just played along though.
