Was that ED-209 in the trailer? Why doesn't Skynet send a robot to take out Kyle Reese instead of Sarah Connor. Doesn't that eliminate John Connor from being born as well? I didn't see Terminator Salvation so not sure if it was answered in that movie.

^ Don't know who you're talking about, but it seems like someone famous and currently in another popular show or movie. I too have fear of a "You should wait for it on DVD" review. Dude. Terminator 2 is one of the best movies of all time. Every other Terminator movie after that is just a money grab. Meh, I'll watch it anways... better than the Transformer franchises.
Terminator 2 was pure cheese and not nearly as good as the first. I liked it well enough when I was younger but then I grew up and realized how dumb and empty it was. About a year ago I read the essay about it by David Foster Wallace and it was as if I was reading my own thoughts on the internet that were written in the past by a computer that had been sent from the future.
Emilia Clark, she is great as Danny in GOT, I just don't really see her as a Sarah Conner. Idk, maybe they'll reward us with some nudes since she doesn't show the tatas on HBO on anymore.. The sig has a mind of its own, I'll find the courage to confront it one day.

I thought it looked like it could certainly be entertaining. I get the DVD element people are talking about, but my first thought wasn't straight to DVD or made for tv type feel, it was actually this looks like it has the feel of T2. Meaning while other movies have certainly advanced cinemographically, CGI, etc... this had more of an old school feel. Which these days certainly could be misconstrued for straight to DVD.. and may have thus been an error by the creators.
Terminator Salvation handled that even dumber than you'd imagine. Skynet actually captures Kyle Reese in the future....and puts him in a cell in order to lure John Connor into a trap and kill him. Uh, why not just kill Reese and eliminate Connor that way?
