The Warriors are 8 wins away from being one of the best teams of all time

If they win the championship, it will be very difficult not to put them in the ranks as one of the best single season teams ever. The stats support it (record, differential, advanced stats). On paper the roster matches it (MVP, elite shooting two way guard, two dpoy front court players, deep bench).

The only legit criticism would be that they wouldn't have played any great teams in the Playoffs. That's something that they have no control over.

Nope not really. So far in the post-season, they have played mediocre competition and have struggled at times to impose their will. They have clear weaknesses that will be further exposed in the next round against stronger teams like the Clippers or Rockets. Had the Warriors piled through the playoffs sweeping teams left and right, then they would be in the conversation for all-time great teams.

Either we or the Cavs will knock them out.

It's an unwritten rule by the Basketball Gods that a team must suffer heartache or have players that have been heartbroken before or have won prior to winning again.

Without looking I don't think the Warriors even have anyone that has a Ring or players that have even been to the NBA Finals. I think their most experienced player is Barbosa from his Suns days and he got as far as Conf Finals. I know Kerr has rings as a player but it's different as coach.

Basically what I'm saying is The Warriors winning would mean they made it look easy. Winning it all is not supposed to be easy.

Cavs or Hawks do not scare me that much....GSW or any West team who come out on top will have a good opportunity to win it all

    We knew that before

Yeah, I agree. Your NBA champions will be one of the Warriors, Rockets, or Clippers.

The Cavs with no Love and a banged up Kryie will be getting swept in the Finals if they make it.

Is this like when Tmac said the Lakers were gonna win it all in 2009, when the Rockets were still playing them in the 2nd round?

I think they are great in the context of this season alone. The all-time great teams would **** on them.

Curry is the worst MVP since Derrick Rose

Lebron was more entitled to the mvp the year rose won it than Harden was this year with Curry. Rose's MVP was clearly lebron's, this year was tighter than that.

I'd say CUrry was a Nash level MVP. played in the perfect system for him to dominate on the best and most exciting team in the league.

Rose was a beast that season, I'd go with Steve Nash
