Dwight's salary while in Houston :

    2013-2014 $20,513,178

    2014-2015 $21,436,271

    2015-2016 $22,359,364

We spent over $60 million on this due alone.

Was it worth it in the end?

Yes, you need at least 2 top 20 players to win a title (outside of rare instances of great players in a perfect situation like Hakeem).

Top 20 players aren't easy to get, when you have a chance you get them, and you hope you can make it work.

It didn't in this instance, but had we not got him, who else would we have gotten that could have gotten us a title? I don't think signing him prevented us from any great player.

So whatever, what's done is done, now move on and rebuild without Dwight.

if you're living by Morey's philosophy of 3 stars, one that went after even the likes of Melo....

This isn't even a question. He would do it again.

    I did't pay a single $ , it's Les money ,Moray's Job , it was worth trying at least

to say. now we have to move on and chase the next 3rd star ..

    after caching the 2nd.

It doesn't matter if you have no alternative. How precisely would we have competed?

Melo - for **** sake that guy is a disaster.

All of these players we chase are not winners - we chase talented players who are missing a screw.

I would look at trading anyone on this team including Harden.

Basketball wise it's 50/50. But the fact that he has always made an effort in giving back to the community is well worth his stay. I applaud him for that.

Yes, if only because I'm not sure who else we would've spent that money on. And we did get to the WCF last season with him. Plus assuming he opts out, he's gone after this season and we owe him nothing and gave up nothing(aside from trading Thomas Robinson for peanuts) back when we signed him in 2013.

It's funny because the Warriors were one of the finalists in the Dwight sweepstakes, but ended up with Iggy instead. I wonder how things would have panned out if Dwight signed with GS.

much much worse. Dwight' doesn't fit GSW system at all, he is just not good enough defensively anymore. Bogut is a way better team defender than him.

I would have liked to have seen what Harden, Parsons, Lin, Asik, plus another piece could have done with a real coach. They would have a great deal of chemistry by now. We should have listened to what the league was saying about him. Can't blame Morey anyone would have made that deal. WOuld be nice if we got Iggy and GSW got Dwight.

The Warriors should never have had a shot anyway, I still think the way the Jazz accepted all those garbage players had something going on under the table. Definitely something shady..

you never know , Dwight might learned a few things like how to ..

    shoot 3s with GS,
    improved FT%
    set illegal screen,
    get open looks ,
    slam dunk party
he might stayed healthier with more rest
next to Draymond , he would be an elite Rim Protector
add more assist to his stats.
even his smile would be more irritating to some fans

but one thing for sure ....

next time he play against the Rocket, he would have monster game like 30 point, 18 rebound , 6 blocks ,3 goal tending , 2 flagrant fouls like an elbow against Harden:)
