It's pretty sad to see people in Houston turn on Harden when he took this franchise back to the WCF as well as put up MVP numbers. Tmac was never this good in Houston, sure in Orlando he was amazing but not Houston injury prone Tmac. Not to mention Harden's contract is dirt cheap compared to current salary.
Actually Harden wouldn't need the ball in his hands lowering his turnovers as much like when he played in OKC trusting that his teammates could score without Harden needing to put the team on his shoulders....and Curry would be triple or quadruple teamed on the Rockets playing worse having the same players brick layups, dunks and open 3's having the team sit on his shoulders
Will Jamal Crawford average ~30 points if he plays 35+ minutes, and take tons of shots? I mean the guy can put the point on the board, I wonder why he cannot get a starter's role on any team.
no because he takes horrible shots all the time and is only looking to shoot. 6th man is the perfect role for him.

He has to play lights out on defense all the time and make his jump hooks down low and we saw this year that he no longer can do this consistently. For some reason you chose to completely ignore the second half of his post. DeAndre can still do those things (dunks/putbacks much more than jump-hooks, but points are points). Elite athleticism will never be phased out no matter what direction the league takes, the issue comes when that athleticism is gone and what remains is a big skill-less oaf.

well there ya go... So Harden was 8-12 by half time..he came to ball and the rest of the team was 5-34 lol 19% from the field and 28% I think for the entire game as a team. Typical of the year. The players Sucked Azz all year. If I were Harden I would've gone insane too
It could get interesting if the Lakers win the lottery. How about Harden for Ben Simmons? You would think LA would do it because they are probably sick of the rebuild and would think they could then lure Durant to sign if they have Harden.
WHAT THE HELL IS IT WITH YOU PEOPLE AND THE OBSESSION WITH BEN SIMMONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think the "horrible shots" is a relative term. Curry took most "horrible shots" than anyone, but no one complains since he made a high % of them. The ultimate measurement should be the %, not how the shots look like. Here are some perimeter players who lead the league in shots taken this season, pretty much in the same ballpark as Crawford, all shot <45% and <40% for 3pts. You can make an argument for the PGs that they have other duties, but what about those non-PGs? Jamal Crawford LAC 79 26:54 4.8 11.9 40.4 1.5 4.4 34.0 James Harden HOU 82 38.1 8.7 19.7 43.9 2.9 8.0 35.9 Paul George IND 81 34.8 7.5 17.9 41.8 2.6 7.0 37.1 Carmelo Anthony NY 72 35.1 7.9 18.2 43.4 1.5 4.3 33.9 Gordon Hayward UTA 80 36.2 6.5 15.0 43.3 1.8 5.1 34.9 Damian Lillard POR 75 35.7 8.2 19.7 41.9 3.1 8.1 37.5 Kyle Lowry TOR 77 37.0 6.6 15.6 42.7 2.8 7.1 38.8 Kemba Walker CHA 81 35.6 7.0 16.4 42.7 2.2 6.0 37.1 John Wall WAS 77 36.2 7.4 17.5 42.4 1.5 4.3 35.1 Isaiah Thomas BOS 82 32.2 7.2 16.9 42.8 2.0 5.7 35.9
curry takes horrible shots bc he can and able to lead teams to rings. Crawford takes horrible shots and hes not as talented as curry. Him being one dimensional and wanting to shoot the ball more often than not is the sole reason why he is a good 6th man. the primary role for him. Crawford is one dimensional. he doesn't offer versatility like all those other players on the list. being a starter for JC is no good for him and its easily evident throughout his career.
he can go to as many strip clubs as he wants. i forgive him for any excessive clubbing during the season. playoffs were very telling of this team. as someone who defended dwight all season, im shocked he couldnt ge ta double double playing 45 mintues. no ****in heart. once again rockets need to do a complete roster change in the offseason. this shold be morey's last try
No, Morey can be fired soon if he is going to do this. Simmons leading team will miss the playoffs next three years.
I don't get why anyone would want to trade James harden. Maybe after next season because he would be going into a contract year but certainly not this offseason. Your not going to trade him and get a player better than him at all. Even if you do strike gold and get an Allstar yiur still worse off. I think ppl take for granted what Harden does for us I mean guys that get 29/7/6 is rare very very rare and he's effecient. Sure he needs to become a much better leader and defender. The defense is fixable iv seen harden give max effort and he actually pretty darn good, better than most players in the league actually he just loses focus. The leadership is another thing, none of us know. But we've heard things that point to him maybe becoming a better leader like his time with team USA were coach K openly said he was the vocal leader not curry not rose or any of the other mvp level guys on that roster. What harden needs to a good coach and atkeast one Allstar level guy next to him. He's the only superstar in the league who doesn't play with another Allstar level player but his team is expected to contend. It's crazy that this isn't brought up more around here and the media. I think it goes to show the expectations for the guy is sky high because he is so good and talented and when he's focused he's one of the top 3 best players in the league easy which is scary. Get harden a Paul George level teamate and we would contend. George is a allstar not superstar we don't need a superstar we got that already. Some of you may say well Paul George is wishful thinking and it is but look who curry plays with (green/klay) look who KD plays with (Westbrook) how about LeBron (love,Irving) cp3 ( Griffin,Jordan) Leonard (LMA, Parker) he'll even Damian lillard plays with Cj mcCoulum who just put up 21/4/4 he's better than any player harden has played with his whole time in Houston. Everyone of those guys bedsides CJ is on Paul George's level or even better. In order for us to contend we have to get another try allstar level guy here. I don't know how you do it but we have the money we have the hardest piece to get in a true superstar now we have to sacrifice assets flexibility and money to get that guy here and then worry about finding the right role players. We thought dwight could be that guy and honestly he was very good his 1st year here but time showed what he really is and he's a 3rd option and a luxury to have once you got you harden and Allstar level guy. That's when you go get a dwight Howard.
Nobody says "Trade James Harden"...because what you get back is a hodgepodge of players whose combined skills cannot duplicate a James Harden's capabilities when he's on his game. And, draft picks are worthless to the Rockets because they suck at picks. Harden may have some faults at times...but he's the only blameless guy on this whole crock of a team. There's fourteen other guys you can certainly point fingers at first.
