Does anyone know of a website that will list food options based on your address? I haven't found one yet, which is odd, because GPS locators can do it.
You can go to Google maps, enter your address, click "search nearby" or "find business", and type in restaurants. Voila. Problem is it that you have to wade through all the fast food joints.
Are you kidding me? citysearch.com has been indispensable to me for like 7 yrs. you enter your zip code you sort restaurants by cuisine, location range from zip code, price etc. it also does movie theatres and other things. forget Google...that in its early stages only.
houston is http://houston.citysearch.com/ its has pre-defined neighborhoods...but i prefer the search by zip. it remember your zip later (like weather.com does). it's not great for every city, but houston's version is very good, imo.
Another vote for b4-u-eat.com. It's a must anytime I'm going to a new restaurant, and is all you need for Houston restaurant reviews. You can sort by neighborhood and/or cuisine.
