I dont like the red pants but i love the red shirt. Red shirt with white pants would look the best. But if they play like they did tonight, even though the jags apparently suck, then they should probably stick with the red pants.
I hate the red jersey and white pants, its too much with a blue helmet. They should wear blue pants when wearing the red jerseys, that would look clean. Since that wasn't one of the choices; the all red is better so I voted for that.
I know it's changing but traditionally the monochromatic look was reserved for high schools and Division 2 colleges. This look for the Texans was exactly the same as The Arizona Wildcats wore last Saturday, right down to the blue helmets. I like the white over blue and the red over white a lot. I would be interested in seeing red over blue since it would be topped off with blue helmets. The blue over blue is probably the dullest look; it could use a little more red than just the one shoulder pad stripe. On a related note, the Cowboys wore their holiday jerseys on the Saturday before the Thanksgiving game and regular gear on Thanksgiving.
I've stated my opinion on this matter several times in various threads. The only combination where the pants match the shirt in the NFL is white/white. The red jerseys look FANTASTIC with white pants. The blue jerseys look pretty good with white pants. The white jerseys look great with white pants. Blue jerseys with blue pants and red jerseys with red pants gives a UNITARD look that isn't good (for any team).
I think that teams that wear all black look good. Our all blues are OK. Not diggin' the all red. Red jerseys and white pants would have looked a lot better. And while we're at it, when we wear white jerseys, we should wear white pants too. That look is so much cleaner than white/blue.
FANTABULOUS! I thought that part was funny. Every year we have this thread after wearing red/red. Has it grown on me? It's ok. I kinda want to see white tops, red pants once.
