This has basically been the theme of everyone this off-season. So maybe our plan could be to sign a whole bunch of injury prone guys and then just hope that they are injured at different times to balance each other out.
We could have had 2 2nds. A trade for a star still is extremely unlikely. Having 2 additional 2nds would have bolstered those chances.
Problem is that this pick was traded a while ago initially to Cleveland in 2012 and then Chicago. Next year is the LAST year it could be a 1st round pick and it will still be Top 10 protected. If Sacramento is still one of the 10 worst teams, then it becomes Sacramento's 2nd round pick but is then protected for picks 56-60. Since Sacramento is showing no promise of NOT being a bottom 10 team next year, this basically taking on Dunleavy for an early 2nd round pick.
