Perfect scenario for the Texans. The team wins and it's not because of Keenum. The still have hopes to make the playoffs and they don't have to feel obligated to keep Keenum. Worst case scenario was if he had an amazing game but the team still lost. Then it would have been hard to cut ties with him next year and team's season would have been over.
I think he managed the game well and minimized the mistakes.. but seriously? He completed less than half of his throws and had the worst INT of any Texans QB this season. Again, super happy we won and I hope he works out because it means we finally have a good QB. He didn't lose the game but this thread is exactly why so many non UH fans don't like Keenum. It's these Jeremy Lin threads and posts.
this game just gives further credence to my belief that Bill O'Brien is one hell of a coach Partial list of accomplishments: taken roughly same team as 2 win year before and wins 8-9 games made fitzpatrick look like a god for a day kept team moving the ball and in tough game with third string first year qb did something kubiak could never do and put case in a position to win a game He's definitely still learning on the job and makes his share of mistakes, but he always seems to keep the team in the game and his thought process is evolving.

Savage needs to be waived. He has that uninspiring persona about him similar to Kubiak and Matthew Schaub.
I get that sense about him too, hopefully he can turn it around. Hate when players just have that blank look on their face. Especially QB's
Yeah that is what I was expecting. Foster was the best at throwing the football. Incredible efficiency completing his attempt for touchdown. Time to make him full-time at the position. The Texans QB problem has been finally solved.
I think Bill O'Brien might actually earn CK another paycheck as a backup somewhere. He needs to send Christmas cards to Fitz, Savage and Mallett.
