Would you buy a car someone died in?

sure. I mean, what's gonna happen to me? get dead cooties or something?

 

No, also wouldn't really want to live in a house someone died in either (that isn't family). Not that their is much wrong with it I guess, but i'd just be creep'd out about it.

But especially with a car and a accident (violent sudden death), i'd also feel like it's bad luck, and that the car isn't safe.

 

odds are that somebody died on that same plot of land at some point in previous millenia anyways though :grin:

 

Died how? If they died from a wreck, I doubt the car would be worth salvaging. If they got shot, or something, in the car, I'm sure there would be some impossible stains all up in there.

If someone died a "natural" death in the passenger seat, sure, I'd buy it.

 

You eat the flesh of dead animals and wear their tanned skin as shoes, jackets, etc.

I don't see any reason I wouldn't drive a car someone had died in, or live in a house someone had died in.

 

As if buying a car that no one has died in will prevent you from an accident.

 

My coworker used to work for a company that would clean out wrecked cars, fix them up and auction them off.

Basically they use a color coded system there- he said if one had the orange X painted on the side, you knew it was going to be a nasty scene. Blood stains, leftover flesh, fingers, hair, and the smells. I couldnt do it, nor could I buy one where I knew what had happened in it.

 

Like the car that James Dean and Paul Walker died in? I dunno if they're salvageable.

 

I looked into buying a townhouse many years ago that someone had died in. Old lady lived in it for a long time and died in the bedroom while sleeping, or so we were told. Ended up passing it up because it was not in a family friendly area and was zoned to garbage schools.

If it was in a better area and the schools were good, I probably would have taken the dive.

I would certainly buy a car someone died in. If it was a boring death, who cares?, and if it is a cool death, my car has an awesome story!
