Dwight vs. Boogie

Obviously Boogie is better than Dwight. Also he has a brighter future than Dwight since he's younger.

 

Wow, really? Damarcus Cousins better than Dwight? Too bad there is no stat for altered shots or intimidation factor. Or the double and tripple teams he commands which frees up everyone else on the team... so, stats are stats. Maybe on paper, right now, Cousins is better.

 

All it takes is a good center to shut Dwight down (Gasol, Perkins, Adams, Chandler, etc.). Give me Boogie over Dwight. The Rockets would be a better team. I like Dwight, and am glad the Rockets have him, but he isn't far ahead anymore.

 

And Boogie has actual post moves.

 

I love Dwight.

But I would take Cousins. He straight up bullies people straight to the basket. He's so strong he has gotten a fair few and1s from the past few games I've seen.

Plus, he has post moves.

I hate the fact the league's chosen to give him one end of the refereeing spectrum already though.

 

By the way , it's Just 13 games and much less for Howard to draw any comparison ..

As presently utilized Cousins is better than Dwight. If Dwight was doing more PnRs with Harden or if the Rockets offense was somewhat less stagnant, his offensive numbers would have improved considerably. The free throws are still an issue though...

 

Who fears the Boogie man?

 

dwight's had a slow start to the season but i still expect him to have a beast season. the whole team is having a slow start but dwight just needs to build some momentum and he will take off.

offensivelyd wight isnt the bewst center. cousins, lopez, jefferson and duncan are ahead of him in that. dwight can get back to a top 3 offensive center, but itll take time. though by default he's still the best center in the league. he's not that far ahead of anyone anymore and can easily lose that title if he repeats what he did last season

 

Dwight is much stronger than cousins.

 

If Mark Gasol was that good Memphis would be in the nba finals.

 

DeMarcus is obviously better offensively, but Dwight is still the better two way player IMO.

Hard to compare since Howard isn't being utilised properly while Cousins is.

If Mchale has the sense to run more PnR with Dwight instead of posting him up all the time, he would dominate anyone out there.
