Kenneth Faried Not Well liked in Denver, Should Rockets Be Interested?

What was the context though? Was Faried in front of him or behind him, did he whisper it, what time of the day was it, what was the shape of Dwight's mouth when Faried said this...

I like Faried, if we put him next to Howard we would have the most athletic front court in the NBA hands down.

Where would we use him? I feel like Faried's energy/intensity leads a lot of people to assume he's a far better defender than he is. Plus he has no outside shot, so how does that work with Dwight? I like him as a player, but I don't see how he fits.

 

he would be a fun spark off the bench for when dwight sits, and we need some low-post offense. i wonder if d-mo and some draft picks would cut it.

 

he plays worse defence than any of our current bigs

This dude got mega overrated from USA basketball. I think we could do much better.

 

Faried is probably their most talented young player. I don't see them giving up on him so fast. You should believe that give up other pieces before they trade Faried.

 

Maybe T. Jones and that's it. Faried is a poor fit and has a big contract that's hard to move.

 

Would have to come off the bench for us, and I'm sure he's not interested in that, and we don't want to pay a big salary for someone who's a terrible fit.

I can't see what he brings that's significantly worth more than Jeff Adrien, except flashier dunks for ESPN.

 

Faried is a player I personally don't think fits the Rockets, but if Morey goes after him who am I to question that decision. I would like Faried much more as the 4th guy than the 3rd guy. If we can pull off a huge blockbuster where we get both Faried and Lawson? I'd definitely be on board with that.

 

Trade for brewer or other 3 and D SF using Lin TPE

Then package ariza, terry, and any combo of tjones, canaan, or capela to make salaries work and for ty Lawson and Kenneth faried
