It's my buddies birthday on Saturday and I was hoping to get some interesting recommendations for places to watch the playoff games. I went to an Ice House in Dallas when I went to the Rockets/Mavs game this year and it was a pretty cool spot. Would like to know of any sweet spots that clutchfans know of in Midtown/Heights/Washington/Rice Village area.

Thanks for the help. How great is this! PLAYOFFS ARE HERE LADIES AND GENTS

You can never go wrong with luckys on st Emanuel. Plenty of rocket fans show up for the games. Even regular season ones. If not then try looking up porch swing pub or taps house of beer..

Luckys will probably have the most Rockets fans

Flying Saucer downtown will have the project screen going. Hay Merchant on Westheimer will also have a projector but its a little cozy. I think 360 Sports Bar of Washington is still open and honestly I've never had trouble finding a table there.

Flying Saucer- best beer selection and giant pretzels
Little Woodrow's on Shepherd- decent beer and great TV setup
Doc's Motorworks- lots of TVs, decent drinks
    Wakefield Crowbar-lots of outdoor seating.

    Hay Merchant gets too crowded.

If you don't want the big crowds of Lucky's, I like Rudz on Waugh (in Montrose). Upstairs viewing.

The Deck off of Fountainview was great when we had a Keep Houston Beard viewing gathering for the last game of the season 2 years ago

plenty of TVs inside, pretty huge deck with like a 70in screen

Cellar Bar is fantastic on Richmond near Buffalo. Lots of huge TVs, surround sound, local craft beers on tap, etc. Only downside is they don't really do food, though you can order in food from elsewhere (BB's and El Tiempo are right next door). Never overly crowded.

Totally forgot about Rudz. They have pool tables and dart boards. Pretty laid back spot. Sort of the neighborhood bar

I think 360 is closed, unless they reopened during the last couple of months. I basically lived there during the playoffs season before last.

I saw the 2nd game of the Spurs Rockets back-to-back at Nick's Place and was thoroughly disappointed. Gonna try Lucky's, I've heard good things.

Some of the Hookah lounges/bars I've been to show the Rocket's playoff games. I don't really remember the name but last playoffs I went to Mary'z (on Westheimer) to watch and didn't have a problem finding a table. Only downside is its mandatory valet but its free so you only have to tip the valet.

Still around but it's added a frat night or something on weekends. Literal frat, not frat-like. Legit frats.
