Anyone else think it's rude for someone to start talking to you when you are in the middle of watching a video? I know I shouldn't overreact, but I get so effing pissy aabout it when someone starts talking to me about crap when I'm in the middle of watching something. Personally, it's like people that see you reading a book, and then expect you to put it down to chat with them

Eat some Chinese food. It'll calm you down.

You know what is more annoying than anything? When you're trying to have a conversation with a person, and someone else near you decides to watch a video on their phone while the volume is up.

Very few things make me want to hit someone, but that does.

Why do you need perfect silence to watch a baseball fight?

The reason it's rude is because pausing wastes battery. It saves energy to let people watch their videos in peace.

You got life twisted, dawg. Make time for people. If you're too busy to talk, just politely say so.

Didn't you make a thread about this before? Is it rude to create multiple threads on the same topic?

Was just about to ask the same thing. It was something about getting interrupted while eating lunch and watching videos.

It's pretty rude to be mindlessly attached to your phone when you're hanging with actual humans.

    Agreed.

Maybe there's some space behind the dryers near the coin machines?

If you're not wearing headphones you're practically begging people to talk to you.

Depends on where you are and if you have headphones in.

Anywhere that is public transportation and you have headphones in (you do live in NYC right?) then screw that guy. If you are just sitting at work with co workers and watching a video without headphones I think you can't get upset.

You should get in touch with Larry David, I think you guys might have a lot in common.
