Did the Rockets trade Rafer so they could decide between Aaron Brooks and Mike Bibby?

    The Rockets wouldn't want to pursue Mike Bibby without knowing whether Brooks could be a full time starter, so they traded Rafer to free up minutes. That would certainly explain the unexpected three team deal.

    No they traded Rafer, because they believe in Aaron Brooks.......Bibby isn't coming here. :rolleyes:

    now that i actually think about it, we might have a chance of signing him this summer when he becomes a free agent. adelman knows him very well and he knows the offense. plus he would be in the same team as ron again.
    i wouldnt be surprised if he joined us. maybe thats why we gave up rafer.

    He's not coming here.....in case you or anybody else hasn't noticed, Morey is on a obvious YOUTH MOVEMENT. Since he has got here all he has done is made this team younger and more athletic.
