    @BA_Turner
    Dallas sends LO to Clps, Mo to Utah, draft rights of Furkan Aldemir go to Houston, Dallas gets Jazz trade exception and cash from Rockets.

    So, this is why Morey couldn't discuss the Aldemir trade last night. It was part of a 4 team trade that Mo Williams to opt into contract first. Interesting that the Mavericks wanted the cash ($1.5 million) instead of their own Euro-stash draft pick. Maybe Mark Cuban cares about money after all.

    Why the heck did Utah take Mo Williams?

    This trade only makes sense to me if both Dallas and LA sent $3 million to Utah.

    That increased luxury tax for 2014 season is quite a bit. Will have to pay twice the amount of tax to keep the same team. Roster and salary trimmings ahead of time makes sense.

    He expires next summer, as does Milsap and Jefferson. Although, they want to be in a position to offer Favors a pretty big deal as well. Also, he gives them an outside shot, something Devin Harris is inconsistant with.

    The Jazz needed a starting SG all last season and only had a mid-second round pick in this draft.
