Just reported on ESPN News from the Combine...surgery will require inserting a screw in his left foot. Will post a link when I find one. They are saying it is minor...will this cause him to drop in the draft??

It could make a couple teams wary of him, but Al Davis wouldn't pass up a player with a screw loose.

I seriously doubt this will keep Seattle from taking him.

If he does fall to 15, I do NOT see the Texans passing on him. Johnson and Crabtree would be the best receiving tandem in the NFL.

I read that St Louis might take him at #2 because Holt may get cut before draft day.

The texans need the defensive end from georgia tech, we gotta get weaver outta the end spot.

He'll still be a Top 10 pick and could still possibly be a Top 5 pick to the Seahawks. Jonathan Stewart's stock didn't fall at all last summer and he was expected to miss 4-6 months.

A buddy of mine who went to TT did say he's concerned about Crabtree's durability. While he has never missed significant time, he does seem to constantly have small nagging injuries.

Let Crabtree fall. If the Texans are even thinking about snatching him, then they've lost all perspective.

NFL conditioning, training, and contract incentives will probably cure that.

I think this is just a big conspiracy and that hes not really injured and that hes doing this to skip the 40. Im probably wrong but its fun to make conclusions like this :p

It's just a minor injury where he'll be back to full speed in no time. Considering he's close if not the #1 receiver in the draft, i can't see him not being a top ten draft pick. With Matt Millan of the Lions gone his odds are better to at least fall 1 spot. :p

If he did somehow incredibly fall to our pick, we'd surely take him to help Andre Johnson not waste his skills being a slot receiver on occasional Sundays just to get him the ball. Then go after a pass rusher in round #2 which i assume is our actual #1 priority so our secondary doesn't have all the time in the world to get picked apart as in recent years. :(

He's planning on delaying the surgery until after his March 26 workout so he can run the 40.

Texans might need to go all defense for every single pick.

Like the Yao missing the playoffs to heal up in time for the Olympics thing.

    April 26th I believe.

Channelview High alum Johnny Knox from ACU ran a 4.25 this morning.
His analysys on NFL.com says he lacks elite speed.

A 4.25 is about as elite as it gets.
