Looks like Bledsoe made a smart decision to become realistic. Wonder if he's willing to gamble on a 2-year deal that expires just in time for a huge bump in the salary cap because of TV revenues.
Hopefully this accelerates movement towards the Rockets acquiring a PG as Plowman continues to opine.
I've said all along, and this wasn't really difficult to predict, that all the Suns needed to do was up their offer just enough for Bledsoe to save face, perhaps with extra incentives.
This sounds similar to the Bonzi Wells situation in Sacramento several years ago. Bonzi said no to 24 million or so dollars and ended up playing (?) for us (rather rotundly I might add) for peanuts. I bet he still wishes he had a do-over on that deal.
