Chandler Parsons offended how the Rockets treated him in free agency

I think every player would love to be played with to a max contract.

 

He played with his mind and made him think he was a star.

 

Parsons is a star. Very popular around the league and well respected while still young in his career. Now he isn't worth the contract, but he's a star, and he's making star money. Or maybe someone should define star. But regardless, there's no denying Parsons has gotten better every year. He hasn't been the go to player but he's a difference maker. He also hasn't reached his ceiling so there's nothing wrong with making a player believe and feel they're a star. Especially when they are.

That's just my unbiased opinion.

 

Chandler Parson is a well rounded basketball player...but a star he is not. If he was a star he would still be here. He does everything well but is not elite at anything. Therefore he is not a star. Do you think the Mavs will be trying to build a championship team around him once Dirk is gone? That sounds ridiculous doesn't it?

 

Is Parsons STILL offended, or are some folks attempting to drive this thread to 1000 posts? ;-)-

He's a star only if you define it in a way where Jeremy Lin is also a star. Otherwise? Not so much

Sounds like a role player to me.

 

ok he's ready for he next step, bigger role and leadership but he's not necessarily gonna be the go to guy?!? his comments are contradictory. so how's he going to lead by example? what is he going to lead? how to put on hair gel??
