Thanks (as always), J.R., for the transcript!

Being slow on the uptake, it took me a minute to figure out what "HNY" meant (Happy New Year).

Much appreciated, bud. L'shana Tovah to everyone!

The Rockets and Motiejunas need to pick a direction for his development. They say they want him to be a rebounder and a good perimeter shooter as well, but there just aren't a lot of players that have that ability; I can name one season from Ilyasova, Ryan Anderson, and maybe Rasheed Wallace for a season.

In order to not waste another season with slow development from DMo I think his deliverables need to be changed to something he can actually achieve. Donatas has good skill for an NBA big man, he just doesn't have the skill to be both a good rebounder and a good shooter. He has good ball handling skills for a big, good post moves, and he's quick. Bulk him up and develop him as a low post player. Or if they truly believe he is better off as a shooter then stop trying to bulk him up too much, let him keep his speed and quickness and make him focus on his shot during practice.

Pick a direction and set him a goal he can actually achieve. He's being pulled in two completely different directions. I say specialize him in one and the Rockets would benefit much more from that than trying to make him the Jack of all trade.

So the mime does talk after all. A puppet, a mime and the black spectator. That's what our coaching staff consist of.
