yahoo probably locked it out due to them thinking someone is trying to hack into it. Reset your password and it should work again

What is your yahoo email address?

And what is the name of your first pet and your mother's maiden name?

this is a HUGE problem with people who have both UVERSE and AT&T mobile accounts. AT&T has royally messed up the process because your accounts will begin to combine information and passwords without your authority. So if you change your uverse password, sometimes it changes your email password as well...and sometimes it won't. Its a bug with the AT&T support website and over the past few years, AT&T hasn't been too happy to help people with it. As a matter of fact, their support will no longer help you for free if you have problems with your email on a client program like Outlook or Apple's Mail. AT&T wants you to ONLY check your mail by logging in to their website. If you use an email program, AT&T wants you to pay a fee for support based on the amount of time you spend on the phone with them..even if all you need is the something simple like the SMTP server information.

Thanks ya'll. was able to resolve it. somebody hacked my account but i was able to change it by calling ATT. the only way i can change my password is to change the official att email account that is associated to my regular yahoo account. i confirm, they did not ask permission from me about merging these 2 accounts. well, glad their customer support rocks.

    thanks again peepz.
