Harden and Howard are going to PnR. Thompson picks up Howard rolling to basket. Millsap gets kick out and scores on an open mid range jumper....something Jones, DMo, and Smith struggle with.

I do like him but I want consistent defensive rebounding badly for this team. I think it would fix so much. We can add shooting from any position, including the bench.

You add Milsap and you get consistent offense but you would be investing a lot of assets & cash for a guy that is still outmatched at the PF position by every other contender in the conference.

If we are just throwing names out there for perfect FA fits... I'd say LMA is a better fit.

PF is not an area of weakness for us if we bring Smith back and get a healthy DMO. I honestly hope we move Jones and run with those 2 guys and some minutes for Capela in there as well. PG is where we need help and bad.

The book on how to beat Rockets is not to guard PF and clog lane. Clogging lane causes turnovers. Josh Smith averaged 6.4 shot attempts when he was open.

Millsap would not be outmatched by no one.

He would basically do the same thing as Millsap. Millsap has more range, but LMA provides center flexibility.

Rockets need a guy that can replace on a PnR. Both of those guys do that well.
