this is true. rockets need to amke sure they face the blazers, mavs or clippers. even if thunder dont have durant the wont get past the 8th seed. they're too late
Depends 100% on what Dwight Howard does. He does a good Deandre Jordan impression, 59-60 wins is in play. He posts up 20 times a game and shows the post game he showed at the start of the year, 51-52 wouldn't shock me. Hollinger projections have 54 wins and with this few left are pretty reliable. I'll go with 55, I think the Dwight integration will be a project but the rebounding improvement will be much more important than any potential negatives.
Of course, that's what we all want. But trying to sway our minds off of that situation by this guessing game! We need to all lighten up and take the load off of our hearts and breathe!
Grizzlies still have to play the Warriors twice and the Spurs and Clippers on the road. That's probably four losses right there.
Possibly, but not likely. This thread is asking us to GUESS, not WISH what our record will be. The Rockets are 17-19 against teams with a winning record, 11-9 at home and 6-10 on the road. Tonight we barely beat the Pelicans. We still have 7 good teams to play.
If Harden wants MVP, I just think we would need at least 57-58 win team. Yes Harden is better than Curry, and means more to this team than Curry. Only MVP to win without their team having a top 2 record in the league was Nash in his 2nd MVP. But if there was another year for another outlier, this would be the year.
In that case, then let the games begin! Or in this case.. finish out! You do realize if we win all out the rest of the season, with no losses, we'd end up with 59 wins? So you're saying we have to go 10-2 in order for Harden to get MVP? Looool... say what? Honestly, I have the rockets to finish at 56 wins as well, but if we end up winning the division as well, that'd be sweet! We will go only as far as Harden will take us. I am just praying we get Jones and Bev back as soon as possible... sigh
