It didn't look serious watching it. But Mchale's quoted as saying "It could be bad". Anybody heard anything new? Seriously hoping it's not

Reminds me of last year when he tore his meniscus right before the playoffs:(

The timing is similar, but hopefully this is nowhere near as serious. It is a reminder though of how fragile Bev is. I hope that(along with his mediocre play during stretches of the season) is on Morey and Les' minds when addressing the PG situation this summer.

His offense has been up & down all season. But he's primarily here for defense. His D is part of the reason Harden's able to focus strictly on offense. If we play LAC w/o Bev, CP3 will destroy us.

Last statement from McHale (day after TJ went down) said he still wasn't ready. This has to be the worst ankle sprain ever.

High ankle sprains can take a long time to heal...

One, while I agree a perimeter defender helps Harden focus more energy on offense, I don't think its fair or accurate to suggest Harden is focusing strictly on offense, at least not this season.

Two, I think Bev's defense has also been up and down all season.

No doubt. He's still important to the team. But they need to upgrade at that position this offseason. Imagine having a player at PG who is a reliable 40+% 3-point shooter and a skilled passer. Even Barkley would have to consider us a contender.

Charlie Palilo is talking like he's not going to be back to guard Tony Parker in the playoffs. Whut?

I thought it was just a sprain? Did you see the replay? They basically just high-fived each other. Didn't look violent or grotesque at all!

Pallilo's saying he's out for the playoffs?! That would mean this an injury that keeps him out 4 weeks or longer. How could he have sprained it that bad on that play?

Hand injuries should be much more tolerable to play than feet or knee issues, Aldridge is an example.

I will be surprised to not see him to play in the playoff.

Even he is playing with a broken wrist and can't shoot at all, he is still a better option for the Rockets than Terry or Prig.

If we can get a Lawson then I'll take it

But I still think Bev's energy can be used. When he's hitting his 3's we're close to unstoppable
