    We all know Morey doesn't extend player's contracts, per policy. Do you think he'll make an exception for Harden, our franchise player?

    I remember Morey saying they don't do extensions because they don't have a foundation franchise player in place, so they don't want hurt team's flexibility going forward.

    Now they have this franchise player, obviously they will extend him...

    No. Why would we trade for him and sign an extension? Sounds pretty stupid to me.

    I don't know. I believe Harden's value needs to be set first. Don't think many teams would offer him the max, probably Morey still thinks he can low ball him...

    No, Morey just wanted him for a year's rental. He wanted to field a one-time All-Beard Team with Royce White.

    23yr old All-star, Olympian for a 4yr/$58mil contract? If you're still not sure if another team will offer him the max, just look at the following players that got similar contracts.

    Pretty much every sportswriter who is commenting on the trade says its a slam dunk that we sign him to an extension before Wednesdays deadline so...yeah we're signing him to an extension
