He and Simmons are buddies that like razing one another. See the previous thread about this, where Simmons and him "got into it" and Simmons claiming he picked the Rockets for 17 wins this year. His actual article listed us as a playoff team.

I'm glad we have a general manager who can give a flip about the so-called "media" and defends his team.
he wasn't just defending the team.. he's defending the fans. Solomon is basically saying we are stupid and swallowing the "company line" and are incapable of our analysis of the team and the job they did this season.
He's right, but I think Morey should stop arguing with media. Do your job and period. The day he does something wrong, he's gonna be murdered.
Media and fans will be scrutinizing the GM's every move anyway. He's gonna get murdered for his mistake regardless. Plus Solomon totally deserved the face slap.
