Same old ... Up 35-7 on the Bills at halftime, Brady 4 TD passes, all of them to Randy Moss. And in case you wondered why some people hate Bill Belichick: with 4 seconds left on the clock, he puts in Randy Moss to play cornerback in prevent defense against the Bills. Also, this girl in my fantasy league has both T.O. and Moss on her team.
In my humble opinion, Randy Moss, not Tom Brady, is the MVP. Moss makes that entire team look superhuman.
How the hell did she get Moss AND Owens on her team? They have combined for at least 70 points together.
Moss was a questionable fantasy pick before the season began. I had a gut feeling about him and took him earlier than projected in my FF draft. He's saved my bacon more than once and lead my team to a 9-1 (10-1 after today) record.
Moss was generally considered to be a risky 5th rounder going into this year. It would have been pretty easy to draft a team with both Moss and Owens. Next year it will be difficult if not impossible.
What he said. Plus she's a huge Cowboys fan and her team is like 75% Cowboy players. Yeah, Romo's her QB. I still have like a 220 point lead on her even despite today's outburst, though.
My buddy (WWR on this board) is in my fantasy league ... 2 QB league, he ended up with Brady (2nd round), Moss (7th round), and TO (4th round). Needless to say, he's dominating right now. What's even more amazing is that his picks between those are all busts but one - S.Alexander, R.Brown, T. Heap, A.Gates.
Randy Moss sucked last year. I'm not saying Brady is the best quarterback ever., but still. I think the offensive lines of the Patriots teams have been vastly underrated.
They weren't up 35-7 at halftime though. And Belichick just went for it on 4th and 1 near the endzone and scored. The opinion of him around the league can only be getting worse by the game.
Offensive lines are always underrated by casual fans or people who didn't play a lot of organized football. The Vikings' line, this season, is a good example of this, as well...
So now they should run out the clock starting at the beginning of the third quarter?!? I mean, maybe if it's the end of the game... but to start the second half?
Randy made Randel Cunningham look good for one year. He also may Culpepper look like an all-pro. Brady has won 3 superbowls with Dieon Branch being his best wide out. Randy is probably the most gifted WR that has played the game and Brady is one of the best quarterbacks of this generation. You put them together with a great Coach and you have the makings of history. I haven't seen anything this dominating since the last championship Niners team.
Well, the Cowboys we're actually trying to preserve a win -- that hailmary would've given the Redskins a victory. The Patriots did that with 4 seconds left before halftime while leading by 28 points. I'm not one of those Patriot-haters -- I have lots of respect for them and in my opinion by far the most dominant team I've seen since I started watching pro football. Brady is my fantasy quarterback. Just saying ... some things are just unnecessary, you know?
Now we're complaining about things in the first half?!? I generally hate the sportsmanship arguments no matter what time in the game they're in reference to. But while I disagree, I can respect the position of those who hate being aggressive in the fourth quarter with a big lead. What I don't understand, from a strict game perspective, is not being able to play the game to the best of your ability in the first half. Did any of you watch the Titans/Texans game? Once you take your foot off the gas, it's hard to put it back on just because the game is a bit closer.
