Brehs, last season we saw a lot more posting in our thread (I guess due to the World Cup) so here's to another great season of awesome futbol! Congratulations to the champions of the top leagues in 2014-2015. Champions League- FC Barca Europa League- Sevilla EPL-Chelsea La Liga- FC Barca Serie A- Juve Bundesliga- FC Bayern Munchen Ligue 1- PSG Eredivisie- PSV
Hi, I'm new to this soccer and I heard Bayern are a great club. Maybe people here can join me on an exciting road to rooting for this team in the next years. Who`s in?
America needs to embrace soccer. If you can sit through 3 hours of baseball to see 3 minutes of action, you can enjoy 2 hours of near-continuous play.
Nah, I hear there's this club called Stuttgart and they're quite a great team. You should root for them instead.:grin::grin:
Mandzukic to Juve. Their transfer summer has been extremely solid this far, look out for Juve in the next years.
I heard about this club in Jena..... why not start 'baking some small breads' and you will finally get there!
Disappointment? Liverpool will easily be in the 6-8 position. It could be worse. I am hoping Swansea finishes above them this year. They need something better than Gomis, though. And better defenders. I am excited about Bournemouth. Their ascent has been pretty cool and now they and their teeny tiny stadium get to play in the PL.
I always have faith in Liverpool as see us bouncing back either 4th or 5th place finish. In other news tho. -Man City to make one last take it or leave it bid for Sterling they will offer £50m for him. (Liverpool rejected a £30 and £45 offer earlier in the month) -De Gea possibly going to Real Madrid, but Man U would like Ramos in exchange as well. Not sure how this will end. -Reports of Pirlo going to NYCFC as their third designated player. -Skrtel still has not extended his LFC contract, could be leaving. -Man U and Liverpool in the hunt for Firmino. -Monaco midfielder Kondogbia set for Inter Medical. -Mandzukic in Turin for Medical with Juventus.
Good thing is no club has ever dominated more than 2-3 years, not even Barcelona.... We should appreciate how competitive this all is
I think Metro made that garbage about the Gea - Ramsay swap. They also wrote a ridiculous piece today about ManU buying Boateng+Schweinsteiger for 35mil combined, it's the dumbest ish I've read in a long time.
Busquets, Iniesta (aging but can still play the big games), Rakitic as the main guys in big games. Rafina (showed tons of promise), Roberto (promised more PT by LE for next season). And Pogba??? Or Verratti?? Plus other big teams who can challenge Barca have their own set of issues. Bayern - Robben/Ribery are injury-proned, and they need to replace them. Madrid - Benitez? C'mon man. Chelsea - unless Hazard takes that next step... can't win against the big boys playing parking the bus
I have two Bayern insider brehs that said Rafinha to Bayyern was a 99% done deal, hope it happens. Maybe he changed his opinion after the treble, would suck.
I feel blah about him.. he really hasn't improved much this past couple of seasons granted he hasn't since much playing time and that may change next season but who knows. Also, he loses the ball often trying to be too flashy.
