Not really the first time, I believe Drexlerfan22 also had a bad experience with somebody he bought a 360 from and we all remember the airbulllard / Kingof40acres saga.



Definately not cool, most of the people I've sold/bought from off the BBS classifieds have been great to deal with.

 

Whew! I almost bought that thing. Sorry about that. The only time I have bought something from the BBS was a PS3 back in April of 2008 and I have no complaints.

BTW, I can vouch for moes. Bought a PS3 from him that still running strong. Of course, I do know where he lives and I'd break his back if he sold me a lemon.

 

I wonder if he's one of those people who buys dead xboxes from ebay, tries to revive them, and then sells them.

I betcha that's it... and I betcha he's not really a pilot.
 

 

Also, i doubt that someone with four games would only play an XBox twice. I know that they could have put in multiple games in the same session, but seems fairly unlikely. Also, the games that you bought are all pretty old. Plenty of people buy used games, but that's just something else to consider...

 

damn...that sucks. at least you used paypal...they usually refund you in situations like this...but it's ridiculous that it has to come to that.

If you kept it, you could've sent your Xbox360 to Microsoft to fix. You just report it on their website, print out a shipping label and send it off at a UPS. Got mine back within a week! There was a thread about this earlier.
