    Thanks for the interview.

    JT better also learn to get the ball to Yao or he won't see much playing time when Yao is on the court.

    Glad we got someone who likes to score though. :D

    For real? Gotta say I've got doubts since it sounds like he thinks he's gonna step in here and be "the scorer". On one end, I'm glad - as that is an area where we are lacking, but on the other end he sounds cocky and self-serving rather than the "I'm just excited to be here and will do whatever the team needs me to do" speech.

    i think the interviewer just didnt know Taylor well enough or was trying to make the interview longer, but that's what the guy is, a scorer, like he said, if houston has been scouting him for a while like they claim, then they have to know that's what he is and therefore it's what they want (him to do).

    Yeah, that's what I heard too. Sounds like he expects the ball. It may not be a bad things as poor as we are in that area, but it also could be a problem if he doesn't feel that he gets enough shots. At this point I'll keep my mind open. I added some rep points for ya. ;)

    Honestly though. This is like someone who worked their life to go to medical school or law school since they were a high schooler or something, and now walk the stage. They're are so many thing going through his head that you cannot really hold anything against him tonight. It is like asking sorority girl questions after they have had a few shots of tequila...

    With all the hype leading up to this draft regarding our trade options, I have to admit I'm a little let down on the fact we didn't trade T-Mac. However I do like Taylor. From what I've seen the guy has great athleticism and is a great finisher. I'm looking forward to what he can offer us and I welcome him to the Houston Rockets.

    he was a top 3 scorer i think last year... what else should he say? you can't just judge a player based on one interview... he says he's excited to be in houston and sounds like it... that's good enough for me at this point

    Let him score, and play so-so defense is fine with me especially if you're off the bench.

    I guess you didn't play the audio clip, he said it "a hundred of times" like my 4 yr old says... :D
