if this was a republican woman on the ground, we'd find out tomorrow that she paid the guy to stomp her head.
They have a photo of one of the dudes. Uh oh. Or should I say... duh oh? Check out bluebluegrass.com for more info. And check out the alien craft sending him orders!
I'm not surprised. Obviously not all (probably not even most) Tea Partiers would support violence like this, but there has always been that element to their rallies.
I heard this mentioned on the radio this morning but just read the article and watched the video. First off these guys should be charged with assault. Its one thing to keep a heckler away from the candidate but to shove her to the ground and stomp on her head when she is clearly not trying to fight back is straight up assault. While she did nothing legally wrong and is the victim at the same time I am not completely sympathetic to her. Yes she shouldn't have been assaulted but she was trying to pull a provocative political stunt by trying to hand Rand Paul a sarcastic Moveon.org award. I don't agree with Rand Paul but these type of stunts are part of what is wrong with campaigns and it was foolish of her to try to sneak her way into the midst of Paul supporters to try to pull it off. Further I doubt many Democrats and Liberals would be fine if a Tea Partier tried to hand a sarcastic award to Barbara Boxer or Russ Feingold in the same manner. From reading the article too it sounds like emotions are running high on both sides since it also notes a Paul supporter might've been assaulted by Conway supporters. [rquoter]In a separate incident, according to the Kentucky Post, "a Conway supporter stepped on the foot of a female Rand supporter, who recently had foot surgery. The woman was wearing a surgical boot, but after the injury, her incision was cut open. Police say she refused medical treatment and also filed an assault report."[/rquoter] Without more info I can't tell if this was just accidental or even if the woman in question is exaggerating but there is no doubt that the race for the Kentucky senate seat has turned very very ugly.

both "sides" are very capable of dirty tricks (republicans are just better at them). it wouldnt surprise me if this was staged too. if not, those two who were stomping here should go to jail for awhile. and the end of the article talks about a female paul supporter who was assaulted by a conway supporter - she filed charges too.
Those Rand Paul supporters are just checking the pulse of the American public. You can argue with their method for checking a pulse, but you can't fault them with trying to improve the political discourse. Maybe we should bring back those fenced-in enclosures for the protesters so popular during W's days.
I don't care what the circumstances are. I can't really see how stepping on a person's foot, even if she was wearing a surgical boot, is equivalent to holding someone down on the ground and stomping her head.
Seems to be a pattern with tea party freaks. Last week a reporter was hand cuffed and manhandled by some of Miller's "security" detail in Alaska. And let's not forget "I'll take you out" Paladino.
a new video <object width="640" height="390"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/SbnEy_U9pYk&hl=en_US&feature=player_embedded&version=3"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/SbnEy_U9pYk&hl=en_US&feature=player_embedded&version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="390"></embed></object> As you can see, the woman never got near Paul
****ing thugs. Look at those big tough Tea Party Patriots stomping on a 5-foot-nothing terrorist communist socialist girl.
